I started writing my second blog post on financial struggles and investing and saving. When I have nothing under my name to this day. I titled it financial struggles and all; however, since I have no right to advise anybody, I'm taking the first step today, and my first action is to start a no-buy challenge. It will be a 6-month no-buy. I'll update my progress on this blog every two weeks. The updates will be nice and short,
The Rules are:
What I can't Purchase
I will not purchase any new skincare.
I will not purchase any new clothing items.
I will not purchase any new accessories.
I will not purchase any new electronics.
I will not purchase any new home décor.
I will not purchase any new makeup.
I will not purchase anything that's not a necessity.
What I can purchase:
I can refill any of my empties if I need it.
I can buy my toiletries.
I can purchase one item a month, either a tablet and air-pod or the apple watch.
I can purchase items for Trip prep.
Now, if you know me, you know this will be a journey. I have never been on a no-buy ever. And from my last post, you know by now I'm a bulk buyer when it comes to skincare. So, the next six months will be interesting, to say the least.
Taking this step is to help my visual brain understand that being a minimalist is possible, and it will be a stepping stone to start my saving and my healthy financial journey.
So let the games begin
